2024 Kaiser Permanente Medical Plans

Kaiser is a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) that provides patient services, hospitalization, supplies and prescription drugs through its own network of doctors, hospitals and other Kaiser-affiliated health care facilities. Kaiser covers your medical expenses only if you go to a Kaiser provider or facility. You are also covered if you have a life threatening emergency when you are outside of a Kaiser service area. Once enrolled, you are required to select a Primary Care Physician (PCP) to manage your care within Kaiser's network and to refer you to specialists. The Kaiser plans are available to employees located in the state of California. Pulmonx offers a traditional HMO plan and a Health Savings Account (HSA)-Qualified High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) through Kaiser.
