New Employees

Welcome to Pulmonx! As a new employee, you are eligible for group benefits on your date of hire. Your initial benefit enrollment period is 31 days from your date of hire. Complete this checklist, read the Benefits Guide, and use online tools and resources to help you make decisions.


Understand how your health plan works. Learn more about the plans by reviewing the plan details in the 2024 Benefits Guide.


Consider your costs. Review coverage costs by accessing the 2024 Benefit Cost Sheet.


Add your beneficiary designations to Life and AD&D coverage. 


Take advantage of the spending accounts. Healthcare, Limited Purpose, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts and Commuter Benefits (transit and parking) allow you to set aside pre-tax money to help pay for eligible health care, day care expenses, and/or transportation respectively. If you participate in an Health Savings Account (HSA), the Company will also make an annual contribution to this account. Learn more


If you enroll in a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP), you must also select the Health Savings Account (HSA) in ADP to ensure you receive the Pulmonx contribution. Please note, it will ask you to select an employee contribution as well. If you do not wish to contribute any additional money to the HSA then you may select $0 to only receive the Pulmonx contribution.


Access ADP WorkforceNow to enroll for benefits within 31 days from your date of hire. 


Add your dependents’ information in ADP WorkforceNow.  Make sure your dependent's information is accurate and complete. 


Enroll in your 401(k) account and review other benefits. Note: The 401(k) plan is managed through Empower Retirement directly, not in ADP. You will be emailed a separate 401(k) communication. Learn more.

Within 31 days of your date of hire... 

Within 31 days of your date of hire, you must log into ADP WorkforceNow to:

  • Determine which benefits you may want to elect for you and your eligible dependents. Coverage is effective on your date of hire.

  • Waive coverage

If you do not enroll... 

If you do not enroll within 31 days of starting as a new hire, you will not be able to enroll for:

  • Health care coverage (medical, dental/vision)

    • You will be required to wait until the next Open Enrollment period, unless you experience a qualified status change.

  • The remainder of the automatically enrolled options will be paid in full by the Company

    • Basic Life Insurance, AD&D Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability and Employee Assistance Program.

Action Required

  • Log in to: ADP WorkforceNow within 31 days of your date of hire. You should  receive an ADP login email that comes directly form ADP.
